Russell Hehn

I’m a writer and teacher living in Birmingham, Alabama.

Since August of 2022, I’ve been the 9th grade World Literature teacher at the Alabama School of Fine Arts where I help a really stunning bunch of students improve their writing and critical thinking.

Before that, I was a college writing instructor and tutor, helping everybody from freshmen putting together research papers all the way up to PhD candidates putting the finishing touches on their dissertations.

I love helping people say what they need to say, whether that’s to a group of coworkers, a potential employer, and especially a college admissions board.
